West Oak Street Home Dedication - June 9th
We were blessed by the Home Dedication for the Clark Family on June 9th. Rev. Dale Byrd opened with prayer after Sean Hickman, Board Secretary, welcomed the guests. Cara Elmore, Board Member and Family Selection Committee Member, introduced the Clark Family and presented them with a Bible. Romelle Blanton, Board Member and Family Selection Committee Member, led the group in a Litany of Dedication. Aramark presented the family with household items for their home. Cindy Drake gave the family an apple pie. Steve Nye, Shelby Morning Rotary Club, presented the family with a tool kit. Linda Richter, WeROCC, gave the family a hand painting. Sandy Thomas from the Quilter's Guild presented the family with a beautiful quilt. Washington Outreach Ministry and Kings Mountain High School's CTE class also gave the family items to welcome them to their new house.
